  • Jonathan Hoenig

    Managing Partner & CEO

    Jonathan is the managing partner and CEO of Atlantic Equity Partners. His expertise and passion for Hospitality and Real Estate comes from through decades of being and owner, operator and developer in the leisure hospitality industry. Jonathan founded Atlantic Equity Partners in 2020, successfully raising $30M in equity and acquiring the firm’s first portfolio of assets now valued over $50M.

    Jonathan holds an MBA in from Pepperdine University, degrees in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Connecticut and New England Institute of Tech, and is an alumni of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

  • Tim Brett

    Partner & Director of Asset Management

    Tim’s expertise in Hotel Management culminates from a multitude of management positions held at Pyramid Hotel Group over the past 16 years. Tim was most recently Area Managing Director overseeing a large city center independent hotel for a publicly traded REIT in Boston, MA. Tim was a founding member of Atlantic Equity Partners and an integral part of sourcing the firm’s flagship deals and capital raising.

    Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and currently serves the Chairman of Isenberg’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Leadership Board.

  • Justin Jabara

    Special Advisor, Hospitality Management Partner

    Justin is President of Meyer Jabara Hotels, an award-winning hospitality company owning and operating hotels in 14 states. Their portfolio of hotels includes brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Hyatt Place and Choice brands as well as several independent hotels.

  • Brett Newcomb

    Special Advisor, Technology and Travel

    Brett is the CEO of Trecco, a travel recommendation platform. Trecco is the leading app for Gen Z travelers and foodies, with recommendations in 150 countries. Previously, Brett led a corporate incubator at Deloitte Consulting focused on the Future of Work and Smart Cities. He has extensive experience leading digital and operational transformations for Fortune 500 companies.

    Brett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Bentley University.

  • Bruce Becker

    Special Advisor

    Bruce Becker is President of Becker and Becker Associates, Inc. (Becker + Becker). Bruce uses a fully integrated approach to sustainable design, planning, financing and development of buildings to meet the social, economic and environmental needs of communities. His firm focuses on green supportive, affordable, and mixed-income housing, community centers, child and senior day care, and urban and historic revitalization projects. Becker + Becker has planned designed and developed over 10,000 units of multi-family rental housing, and a wide variety of commercial, retail, educational and mixed-use facilities. Bruce is the architect and developer of the 165-room Hotel Marcel, an all-electric hotel, which is the first Passive House certified hotel in the United States, and one of only 10 LEED Platinum certified hotels in the United States. Bruce is a magna cum laude graduate of Amherst College; received MBA and Master of Architecture degrees from Yale, and aHotel Real Estate Investment and Asset Management Certificate from Cornell.

  • Bethany Patten

    Special Advisor

    Bethany is Director of Policy + Engagement and Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative, where her responsibilities include recruiting students and teaching core classes that lead to a certificate in corporate responsibility and sustainability; fundraising and managing projects that support faculty research in the areas of climate policy modeling, and measurement of environmental social and governance activities within a firm; and, engaging/convening leaders in the policy, business and civil society to come to a shared understanding of the best climate policies and actions that will improve the world. In addition, Bethany manages all aspects of the center’s business and financial operations.
